What is Best Told Secrets?

 Hello,

    Welcome to Best Told Secrets! My name is Kiki Chardonnay. I am a restaurant critic and food expert! Please join me in the journey to delicious food, exquisite flavors and town secrets!

    A little background:

When I was a little girls I was always picked on because of my weight and because all I done was either watch cooking shows or reading cook books. I never really found a place that I fit in. I found myself drawn to the FFA and discovered that people enjoyed my cooking and BBQ foods. This was where I found my future career. 

A few years went by and I realized that I wanted to be a foodie and restaurant critic however, I did not want the publicity of people knowing who I am. When people know who you are, everyone and everything is brought to the highest of standards. Almost favoring the critic. I did not want that. I wanted to be anonymous. Being anonymous allows the critic to experience the daily service and ambiance of the restaurant as well as the town. 

With this idea I also decided to expand my knowledge of the town I am in and learn about the local attractions both the well-known and the not so well-known. When I started on this journey I learned that most towns/restaurants are built around the history of their location. With the history being such a big part of each ambiance, it explains the different flavors and uniqueness of each plate and building structure.

That is where the title Best Told Secrets came in. Most local places do not have the recognition that it deserves because there is always that ONE place that draws people. However, tourists and drive-by travelers do not get to experience those locations that are delicious or full of history because they are not spoken about.
